#globe broadband roll out

Globe is inching closer to their 2020 goal of deploying 2 million new broadband lines. As for their coverage, Globe was able to deploy fiber broadband in 12 cities in Metro Manila and in 19 provinces nationwide over the course of two years. Globe is also looking to bolster their mobile coverage by deploying massive MIMO (multiple input, multiple output) technology. The rollout follows earlier availability in select markets such as the United States, Canada, India, and New Zealand. It is also rolling out to Chrome on iOS, although availability varies by region. Google Meet is starting to roll out on Android Auto, bringing video call access to car displays, although with some notable limitations. The rollout appears to be gradual and may depend on server-side updates, as the feature is not yet available to all users. The company added that it is investigating the issue and has started rolling out a fix to affected users.
