Globe Prepaid users are now able to upgrade their physical SIM card to an eSIM. The upgrade costs PHP 99.00.  To upgrade your physical SIM to an eSIM, simply go to the GlobeOne app, click on SIM Hub > Change SIM > eSIM and follow the on-screen instructions on your device. This follows the successful introduction of eSIMs for Globe Prepaid subscribers earlier this year, creating an end-to-end digital experience for its customers. Last August 2023, Globe Telecom sent out a media release stating that the Globe Prepaid eSIM will be made available by the end of Q3 2023. “By the end of this quarter, we will launch our leveled-up version of the eSIM because we recognize the opportunity and we can also monetize the convenience that eSIM can give our customers,” said Darius Delgado, Head of Globe’s Consumer Mobile Business.
