In collaboration with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC), and the Philippine National Police’s Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG), Globe has donated IMSI catcher detectors to help authorities identify and track unauthorized mobile network activity. One curious question here though is why is Globe abandoning the eat-all-you can model for mobile 3G internet? Likewise, Globe has terminated their Globe Visibility Unlimited plans (the one that costs Php3,000 a month for unlimited Mobile 3G internet).
