Globe Telecoms formally announced that it has teamed up with WhatsApp to bring subscribers, both on prepaid and postpaid subscriptions, access to the popular instant messaging platform without eating up their data allocation. In their press release, Globe Telecoms stated that the free WhatsApp access will commence on April 30 and will be available for all Globe subscribers. Postpaid subscribers will also get the same treatment, as well as those who are subscribed to the Globe myLifestyle Plan. So it's not a surprise that Globe Telecom has dropped its Globe Visibility Mobile Prepaid kit down to just Php3,500. Globe started offering their new prepaid and postpaid plans for Visibility back in June 23 when we first reported it here. People have been asking that since Globe Visibility has obviously moved into the flat prepaid and tiered postpaid models, what will happen to subscribers who are on the GV Unlimited plans? After which, Globe will be offering them a new post-paid plan on top of the existing one.
