Google has announced that the company will start deleting inactive accounts on December. Google plans on removing inactive personal accounts on December 1.

Accounts that have been placed as recovery emails for these users would also receive this notification to be informed of said account's deletion. This deletion would affect personal accounts who have not been active for at least two years. Google's Vice President Ruth Kricheli has explained that unused accounts may be at risk as they can be compromised due to weak passwords, lack of security checks and no two-factor authentication.
