#Google and McLaren Promote Chrome and Android

The latest partnership comes straight from Google and McLaren Racing for a 2022 partnership deal. Google will be the new Official Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team and McLaren MX Extreme E Team from 2022. As part of the deal, Android logos will be present on the engine cover of the F1 car, while the Chrome branding will be put on the wheel covers. “We are absolutely delighted and proud to welcome Google to the McLaren Racing family. By integrating platforms like Android and Chrome across our operations, our team will be better supported to focus on driving performance. With this feature, it brings support for more types of personal information and deeper integration with Google Wallet on Android and iOS devices. Google has started rolling out a redesigned Google Wallet app for Android alongside new Google Pay verification features announced during Google I/O 2026. Google says Android Halo is designed to make AI interactions more seamless by keeping users informed without interrupting what they are doing.
