Google has revealed Android (extended reality) XR which is a new operating system from the company. Google just announced Android XR which will have maybe of Google's apps like YouTube, Google Chrome, Photos and Maps. Google's Gemini will also be integrated in Android XR. "Gemini can understand your intent, helping you plan, research topics and guide you through tasks," stated by Shahram Izadi, Vice President and General Manager of Google. Android XR is currently in its early stages but we can expect Google to unveil devices that use Android XR next year. Google has started rolling out a redesigned Google Wallet app for Android alongside new Google Pay verification features announced during Google I/O 2026. The updated Google Wallet interface introduces a redesigned homepage with quicker access to passes, boarding tickets, and payment cards. Google also added a new “View more” floating action button that opens a searchable hub for stored passes, transaction history, and other Wallet content.
