#Google Pause Point feature

Google has unveiled a new Android feature called Pause Point. Google's Pause Point is designed to help users think twice before opening apps that can be considered distracting. Instead of completely blocking access to apps, Pause Point adds a 10-second delay before the selected app opens. For users who need stronger controls, Pause Point makes it harder to disable by requiring a full phone restart before the feature can be turned off. Google has not yet announced when Pause Point will be available to its users. Google has launched its AI-powered Try On feature, allowing users to upload a photo and virtually see how clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories may look on them. The feature is available through Google Search, Google Shopping, and Google Images.   The launch is part of Google's broader AI rollout following several announcements made during Google I/O 2026, including new Gemini features and AI-powered search tools.
