Google has updated its photo gallery platform, Google Photos. Check out the new features below: Redesigned UI: Google Photos now has a redesigned UI, with only three tabs for a less cluttered screen: Photos: The main tab contains all your photos and videos, with larger thumbnails, auto-playing videos, and less white space in between. Search: Users can now easily search for photos on the main menu. By enabling location on your device camera, location history, or manually add locations, the photos will be organized and searchable in Google Photos. Google Photos' automatic creations, including movies, collages, animations, and more, have also been moved from the For You tab to Memories. The new Google Photos update is set to launch over the next week on both Android and iOS. Google says Gen Z users are now the most active users of AI-powered search, as younger audiences increasingly rely on tools like Gemini for everyday queries. Data shows that 89% of Gen Z users in the Philippines use Google Search every day, alongside similar figures in Indonesia and Thailand.
