#Google Top search queries in the Philippines for 2021

Google has released the list of top Filipino queries in 2021 with several lists like trends, news, personalities, shows, and more. What mattered for Filipinos is reflected in the local results of the Overall Top Trending Searches. "COVID-19 Prevention" tops this list year's list which relays that Filipinos rely on Google Search for useful information to prevent the spread of the virus. Looking at other queries, we see six out of 10 searches for entertainment. Google says Gen Z users are now the most active users of AI-powered search, as younger audiences increasingly rely on tools like Gemini for everyday queries. Data shows that 89% of Gen Z users in the Philippines use Google Search every day, alongside similar figures in Indonesia and Thailand. Google said this shift is changing how people use search, from typing keywords to engaging in deeper, back-and-forth queries. Google has launched its desktop app for Windows, bringing its AI-powered search experience beyond the browser and directly into the operating system.
