Google outs top search queries in the Philippines for 2021

Google has released the list of top Filipino queries in 2021 with several lists like trends, news, personalities, shows, and more. What mattered for Filipinos is reflected in the local results of the Overall Top Trending Searches.

“COVID-19 Prevention” tops this list year’s list which relays that Filipinos rely on Google Search for useful information to prevent the spread of the virus. Additionally, “VaxCertPH” comes in at number 4, as well as “COVID-19 vaccine” at number 6.

Looking at other queries, we see six out of 10 searches for entertainment. This shows the passion of Filipinos and their use of the internet and Google as a way to detach and escape during the second year of the Pandemic.
