Aside from the main event, that is the Google Pixel 10 Series launch, the company also unveiled new wearables. Google Pixel Watch 4 Design-wise, the Pixel Watch 4 remains largely the same as its predecessor. Google claims the 41mm model offers up to 30 hours of use, while the 45mm version can last up to 40 hours, even with Always-on Display (AOD) enabled. It also comes with the new “Gemini-ready” feature, allowing users to interact with Gemini, Google’s AI assistant, simply by raising their wrist. The first Made by Google smartwatch will be called the”‘Pixel Watch” according to patent filing dated April 19, 2022 thru United States Patent and Trademark Office. As the name suggests, Google implies its intent for the wearable to be a companion for their Pixel phones lineup, bringing more people into Google’s internet of things, or simply Google’s ecosystem. The Google smartwatch is expected to be announced at Google I/O developer event next month, and of course, leaks have already been surfacing on the web ahead of possible launch.
