Globe Telecom announced the launch of its new Globe At Home GFiber plans, offering customers faster internet speeds and more flexible terms. The company highlighted that the new plans come with no lock-up period, a minimal piso cashout, and free installation, aiming to make the switch to fiber internet more accessible. So one of the most anticipated stuff I had to check out when I arrived here in Japan is their broadband internet speeds. Microsoft has quietly introduced a new internet speed test feature in Windows 11, giving users a quicker way to check their connection directly from the taskbar. Beyond measuring internet speed, the page also includes additional tools such as a stopwatch, timer, typing test, and QR code generator, turning it into a lightweight utility hub.
