#HP Omen 15 8th-Gen Intel Core I7

Villman recently posted the 8th-Gen Intel Core I7 processor refresh of the HP Omen 15 gaming laptop. This variant sports a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 resolution, an 8th-Gen Intel Core I7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (4GB) video card, 8GB RAM, and 1TB internal storage. Intel has introduced its latest Core Ultra 200HX Plus mobile processors, targeting gamers, creators, and power users who need top-tier laptop performance. The new lineup includes the Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus and Intel Core Ultra 7 270HX Plus, both designed to push performance further within the existing Core Ultra 200HX platform. Compared to older chips like the Intel Core i9-12900HX, gains can reach up to 62% in gaming performance. Systems powered by the Intel Core Ultra 200HX Plus series are already rolling out from major OEMs including Acer, ASUS, Dell (Alienware), HP, Lenovo, MSI, and Razer starting March 17, 2026. Intel has announced its new Core Ultra 200S Plus series desktop processors, which include the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus. Intel said the processors will start at $299 for the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and $199 for the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus.
