Huawei is now using a new mobile camera image technology called Huawei XMAGE after the brand's breakup with Leica. Under this new brand, Huawei will be launching a number of new image technologies especially those products related to mobile cameras. XMAGE will be focusing on 3 fields such as optical system, imaging technology, and image processing. In terms of Image technology, it has YYB super-sensitive sensor, full-pixel octa-core focusing, 10-channel multispectral sensor, hyperspectral imaging, and many more. We may see the XMAGE in action soon thanks to the next generation of flagship phones of Huawei, the Huawei Mate 50 series which is reported to be featuring the XMAGE imaging technology.
