Huawei has just launched its latest flagship lineup, the Mate 30 series. Included in the lineup is the premium handset, the Mate 30 Pro. As a successor to last year's Mate 20 Pro, let's see how the two devices differ from each other. The Mate 20 Pro does have the larger aspect ratio at 19.5:9, while the Mate 30 Pro has an aspect ratio of 18.4:9. The Mate 30 Pro's display does win though, in terms of it being HDR 10+ and features a side-touch volume key. As for the processor, the Mate 20 Pro comes equipped with Kirin 980, while the Mate 30 Pro has the latest version, which is the Kirin 990. When it comes to RAM, the Mate 30 Pro only has an 8GB RAM; on the other hand, the Mate 20 Pro has two options at 6GB and 8GB RAM. The Mate 30 Pro only has one offering at 256GB, which is already pretty extensive. When it comes to cameras, the Mate 30 Pro steps it up with a quadruple-camera setup on the rear, compared to the Mate 20 Pro's triple-rear camera setup.
