#HUAWEI Mate 70 Air Launch

HUAWEI has officially launched the Mate 70 Air in China, its new ultra-thin flagship, measuring only 6.6mm thick, designed to rival the iPhone Air. The Mate 70 Air sports a 7-inch 1.5K+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and runs on HarmonyOS 5.1. It looks like HUAWEI is ready to take on Apple’s new iPhone Air with its own ultra-slim flagship, the HUAWEI Mate 70 Air. The Mate 70 Air is rumored to sport an incredibly thin 6.x mm body, a 6.9-inch display with an 18.8:9 aspect ratio, and a new 1/1.3-inch main camera sensor inside Huawei’s signature XMAGE circular module. Unlike Apple’s eSIM-only iPhone Air, HUAWEI's model will reportedly stick with physical SIMs only, catering to local demand where eSIM adoption remains low. If true, the Mate 70 Air could mark HUAWEI’s thinnest flagship yet, reviving the brand’s legacy of ultra-slim designs dating back to the Ascend P1 S. Without even so much as an early announcement, HUAWEI has just launched the nova Y74. The HUAWEI nova Y74 is launching in two color choices, Black and Blue, though official pricing and specific regional release dates have not yet been disclosed by the company.
