Huawei is preparing a double blow in the foldable market with not one, but two major launches planned for the second half of the year: the upgraded tri-fold Mate XT 2 and the book-style Mate X7 . Huawei’s second foldable release of H2 will be the Mate X7, featuring a more traditional book-style foldable design. Release Launch Tipsters suggest both devices are set to debut in H2 2025, building on Huawei’s experience launching the Mate XT in September 2024 (then globally in February 2025). With support for dedicated productivity tools like the keyboard, M-Pencil Pro, and mouse, HUAWEI is pushing the MatePad 12 X toward those who want a portable workstation that they can use for both creation and consumption.
