HUAWEI just unveiled a new premium compact tablet,  the MatePad Mini, rocking an 8.8-inch 120Hz OLED display, flagship-level cameras, and a super slim 5.1mm body. The MatePad Mini weighs just 255g, but still manages to pack a 6,400mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge, good for up to 15 hours of video playback. No word yet on international availability, but this could be HUAWEI’s answer to the iPad mini crowd. The HUAWEI MatePad 12 X (2026) embraces this shift by combining a large, high-refresh display, long battery life, strong performance, and cool accessory integration into one package.
