HUAWEI has once again claimed the top spot in the global wearable market, according to the latest International Data Corporation (IDC) report for Q2 2025. This puts HUAWEI ahead of other major brands in the category, reinforcing its growing presence in the smartwatch and fitness tracker market. HUAWEI’s growth comes from its expanding lineup of wearables, including the HUAWEI FIT 4 Series, WATCH 5 Series, and GT 5 Series, as well as its health-focused innovations. Notably, the HUAWEI WATCH D2 became the first smartwatch in the Philippines to support ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), certified by both China’s NMPA and EU regulations. HUAWEI has been steadily improving its wearable lineup with features like dual battery modes, advanced health monitoring through TruSense, and expanded fitness tracking options, which have helped it secure a wider user base globally. Huawei is set to launch new devices on May 15 at its global launch event in Berlin, which will include not only new smartwatches but also a new MatePad tablet. We should learn more about the new MatePad tablet, along with the new HUAWEI WATCH 5 and HUAWEI WATCH FIT 4 Pro, in the coming weeks leading up to the May 15 HUAWEI launch event.
