Huawei Watch to receive Android Wear 2.0 this month

Huawei’s first attempt at creating an Android Wear smartwatch will receive its biggest update sometime this month.

The original Huawei Watch is set to receive Android Wear 2.0 towards the end of March 2017. There’s no specific date as to when exactly the update will roll out so it’s best to keep an eye out.

The news came from Huawei’s German account on Twitter. This will be Huawei’s second Android Wear 2.0 wearable since it just announced the successor back in MWC 2017 in Barcelona last month.

If you prefer the minimalist look of the OG Huawei Watch, the new software will keep it up to date with the latest wearable features of Android smartwatches.
