Huawei previously promised a convenient QR payment option via GCash for the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series and other select wearables (initially released in Q4 2024). Now, that feature becomes more accessible as the brand will add ‘GCash Watch Pay’ to more HUAWEI wearables. As of writing, however, Huawei has yet to make a list of its wearables that will support the QR payment feature. The GCash Watch Pay essentially lets users pay directly using their HUAWEI wearables via a QR code.
