Infineon launched the OPTIGA TPM SLB 9672, a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) with a post-quantum cryptography (PQC) protected firmware update mechanism. This future-proof security solution uses XMSS signatures to counteract the threat of firmware corruption by attackers with access to quantum computers, ensuring a quantum-resistant firmware upgrade path for PCs, servers, and connected devices.

Infineon provides a wide range of automotive technologies focused on dependability, which includes robustness, reliability, safety, and security. Key products include the AURIX TC3x family of microcontrollers for domain/zone ECUs and functional safety (up to ASIL-D), XENSIV 60 GHz radar sensors for in-cabin monitoring systems (ICMS), and XENSIV MEMS microphones for sound-based sensing solutions that can detect emergency vehicles. They also supply MOSFETs for inverter designs, like in Samsung refrigerators, and connectivity chips such as the AIROC CYW43455 Wi-Fi/Bluetooth combo.
