It was posted by the Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri on Twitter that they're introducing new features for creators on Instagram with paid subscribers. An Instagram creator that has signed up for the Subscribers program is given the option to charge their followers a monthly so they could see exclusive content through the app. Instagram announced a couple of handy updates for its app which gives users an easier way to discover new people to follow and, finally, the ability to go back and edit captions on posts. The new features are available on Instagram for iOS version 6.2 and Instagram for Android version 6.10. Subscribers will also get access to Route Discovery, which recommends popular trails based on activity data, as well as Route Builder for creating custom routes with distance, elevation, and surface information. A new Route Saves feature will also allow subscribers to save routes directly within the app. Users can now view activities through a 3D Activity Map, while subscribers can use Activity Replays and Flyover animations to showcase completed hikes.
