It was posted by the Head of Instagram Adam Mosseri on Twitter that they’re introducing new features for creators on Instagram with paid subscribers.

An Instagram creator that has signed up for the Subscribers program is given the option to charge their followers a monthly so they could see exclusive content through the app.

Subscriber Chats
The creator can exclusively send DM to up to 30 subscribers at a time.
Subscriber Reels and Subscriber Posts
Subscribers are able to see exclusive reels or posted content from their subscribed Creator.
Subscriber Home
Subscribers are able to see all your exclusive content and sign up to subscribe through the Subscriber Home which is located in a creators profile
