Apple kicked off their event by officially announcing the latest iteration of its mobile platform, iOS 8.1, which features a few new improvements over its predecessor. The new software build will also include the return of “Camera Roll” which was axed during the iOS 8 update. The new iOS 8.1 will be available for download to all supported Apple devices (see list below) through iTunes or via Over-The-Air update starting on Monday (or Tuesday in our local time). Apple today officially announced the next version of their popular mobile operating system, the iOS 5 which will be available to you iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch this July. iOS5 also introduced iMessage, Newstand, Reminders, multi-tasking gestures and Airplay mirroring (for iPad2).
