Apple has just announced that it's refreshing the iPod touch by giving it a new chipset and a new storage option. The latest iPod touch will now be equipped with an A10 Fusion chipset, replacing the A8 chipset in its previous model. With the A10, the new iPod touch now allows users to make Group FaceTime call and now has support for AR games. Other specs of the iPod touch will be retained, such as the 4-inch screen with an 1136x640 resolution, 8MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple has recently shuffled three devices onto its vintage and obsolete products list: a sixth-generation iPod touch, a 2015 21.5-inch iMac, and the iPhone 5S. Joining the 5S in the dustbin are the iPod touch (6th generation) and the late 2015 edition of the 21.5-inch iMac with a Retina 4K display. The sixth-generation iPod touch, released in 2015, was the second-to-last model in the once-ubiquitous music player line.
