Unihertz is bringing a new addition to its Jelly Series, the Unihertz Jelly Max, which the company is touting as the ‘smallest 5G smartphone’. This is quite a jump from the Unihertz Jelly Star that only measured 3-inches diagonally. Related reports claim that the Jelly Max has yet to secure various certifications needed for them to legally sell the phone in certain markets. Smart is finally out with its WiMax service and posters have been spotted about the new SmartBro WiMax subscription plans. I think we're a bit fortunate to have 3 competing WiMax providers in the Philippines -- there's Globe, Smart and Liberty Telecoms. But just like the existing 3G networks that have been rolled out for years, WiMax is also dependent on location.
