Lalamove will soon be launching its ride-hailing service in the Philippines this month. Simply dubbed as Lalamove RIDE, it is set to launch as early as next week on February 10, 2025. Notably, Lalamove RIDE will be open to drivers who own hybrid or electric cars. This sets a precedent for ride-hailing services in the Philippines. Lalamove promises that drivers will receive 98% of their earnings, insurance coverage (including for passengers), and additional income opportunities from taking delivery orders as well. Lalamove RIDE initially rolled out in Malaysia in November 2024. The exact scope of their service availability remains uncertain, but Filipino users can expect Lalamove RIDE to be available within Metro Manila at launch.
