YouTube has announced the addition of Lazada to their Shopping affiliate program in the Philippines. Lazada is one of the country’s leading ecommerce platforms, with the program allowing creators to tag products in their videos. This allows customers access to a wider range of products in addition to the Shopee partnership announced in April. Lazada Philippines has just begun its Big App Sale starting today, May 23, with up to 80% discounts. Lazada has seen a 170% increase in the use of its mobile app during the first quarter of 2017 compared to the same time last year. To celebrate and give thanks, the e-commerce site has made a sale event that's exclusively available through Lazada's mobile app. Apart from app-exclusive deals, Lazada also offers 10% for every purchase of prepaid load or mobile through its platform.
