LG Electronics has announced that their upcoming smartphone, the LG V20, will run Google's latest Android OS, Android 7.0 Nougat, when it launches. The LG V20 is the company's upcoming smartphone and the successor to the LG V10 announced in October 2015. With the said announcement, the V20 marks as the company's first smartphone to run the newest Android out of the box. We've learned of Sony's devices being updated to the latest Android Nougat system, but one question remained -- When will they roll out? Owners of the Z5, Z5 Compact, Z5 Premium, Z4 Tablet, and Z3+ will get their Nougat patches during the Holidays. Lastly, the XA and XA Ultra users will be the last to be seeded with the Nougat update, with the time frame being slated for Q1 2017. But the LG G5 hasn't really brought the modular idea into a massive success, and that should hint already on what the V20 should be. Nobody wanted to buy separate mods that are costly to improve their already good smartphone, so with the LG V20, the company made an all in one package again - what the LG G5 could have been if it wasn't modular.
