LineageOS has released version 23.2, bringing two popular Pixel-style features to custom Android phones. LineageOS is one of the most widely used custom Android systems. Instead of yearly releases, LineageOS will now follow a six-month update cycle. LineageOS 23.2 continues the project’s goal of offering Pixel-like features without relying on Google’s software. As it turns out, some of the people who worked on CyanogenMod are now forking the source code and related patches to a new open source project called LineageOS.
