Cyanogen, the company behind the Cyanogen OS is shutting down operations by the end of 2016. In line with this, all services will be closed down and further development of nightly builds is unlikely.

The company published this in a brief blog post during Christmas eve. Although, CyanogenMod, the open source Android based operating system developed and maintained by the passionate developers and members of the community, will continue to live for those who wants to adopt it.
As it turns out, some of the people who worked on CyanogenMod are now forking the source code and related patches to a new open source project called LineageOS. A website is being developed and we expect to hear more about Lineage in the coming days.
