Alongside the latest MacBook Pro, the M4 Pro and M4 Max chips have been unveiled. The M4 Max has up to a 16-Core CPU with 12 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores. The chip can be 2.2x faster than the M1 Max complemented by a GPU with up to 40 cores. The M4 Max supports up to 128GB of unified memory with 546GB/s of bandwidth. Additionally, the M4 Max is equipped with a media engine which includes two video encoding engines and two ProRes accelerators. The M4 Pro and M4 Max chips both support Apple Intelligence on macOS Sequoia. Smart is finally out with its WiMax service and posters have been spotted about the new SmartBro WiMax subscription plans.
