For a few weeks now, we've been using this 23-lbs beast of a speakers from Marshall. What Marshall wants to focus on is the speaker's sheer performance. The Marshall Hanwell Anniversary Edition speakers was created to celebrate the 50 years of the brand and as such, it's classic and vintage look is accented by gold trimmings and paint job. Marshall Headphones is licensed under the Swedish company Zound Industries which is also the same flag responsible for the Urbanears brand so you guys probably already know where I'm getting at. The cups and brackets which are made from black, rubberized plastic all feel very durable and pleasant to the touch due to the velvety texture, a pair of gold-plated aluminum strips with the ‘Marshall’ insignia is also found on the inner parts of the foldable brackets, an added touch which enhances the retro styling even further. Sound Quality The Marshall Major FX's sonic performance didn’t amaze me. Conclusion I think the Marshall Major FX is best suited for the ‘fashionistas’ out there or for the people who would rather choose style over substance.
