MediaTek has officially unveiled the Dimensity 8400, marking a new milestone for upper-midrange Android chipsets. At the time of writing, there are two devices expected to have the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 under the hood. MediaTek is unveiling new Dimensity chips in China on December 23. While the company did not reveal the chipset names, one of them is expected to be the Dimensity 8400. MediaTek has unveiled the Dimensity 9500s, a powerful new chip aimed at sub-flagship smartphones, sitting just below the top-tier Dimensity 9500.
