MetroDeal, a Filipino e-commerce company, is waving goodbye after 13 years of slashing prices on everything from spa treatments to travel adventures. In a sentimental send-off, MetroDeal reminisced about its "remarkable journey," where "every deal sealed a partnership, and every voucher a story of connection and joy.” While on-site deals ceased on May 15th, the company clarified that all previously purchased vouchers will still be honored by merchants until their designated expiry dates. MetroDeal account access and customer support will be available until the end of the year. Until then, users can reach them via phone, Facebook Messenger, or email ([email protected]). Founded in 2011, MetroDeal carved a niche for itself by offering steep discounts on experiences and products ranging from restaurant meals and spa treatments to exciting activities, shopping sprees, and travel packages. Last year, we heard of the story with MetroDeal and their travel package that got screwed up leaving a lot of customers not being able to avail of the vacation package or get a refund for it.
