Tamron has recently announced their first super-zoom lens for Micro Four-Thirds camera dubbed as the Tamron 14-150mm f/3.5-5.8 Di III. The new Tamron lens offers wide zoom range that’s equivalent to 28-300 on a full frame camera with variable aperture ranging from f/3.5 at its widest and drops down to f/5.6 at the telephoto end. Sony has announced the FE 50-150mm F2 GM (SEL50150GM), the world’s first full-frame telephoto zoom lens with a constant F2 aperture and 150mm maximum focal length, designed for professionals in portrait, wedding, indoor sports, and video production. The lens supports high-resolution image capture across the entire zoom range, thanks to its advanced optical design consisting of two XA (extreme aspherical) elements, two Super ED glass elements, and three ED (Extra-low Dispersion) elements. Sony has started taking pre-orders for the 16-50mm Retractable E-Mount Zoom lens which is due for shipment on the 20th of February next year. In addition, the SELP-1650 (16-50mm Retractable E-Mount Zoom lens) is the first Alpha lens with an electrically driven zoom mechanism.
