Midea has officially unveiled its newest humanoid robot called Miro U. Miro U is the company’s first six-armed wheel-foot humanoid robot and the third-generation model in Midea’s humanoid lineup. According to Midea CTO Wei Chang, the robot uses a fully self-developed technology system and is capable of stable lifting, 360-degree rotation, and precise control of six bionic robotic arms. Midea confirmed that Miro U will be deployed at the company’s high-end washing machine factory in Wuxi before the end of the year. Midea said it plans to continue expanding research in AI and robotics as it pushes toward large-scale humanoid robot deployment.
