Midea has officially unveiled its newest humanoid robot called Miro U.

Miro U is the company’s first six-armed wheel-foot humanoid robot and the third-generation model in Midea’s humanoid lineup.
The robot was introduced during the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area New Economic Development Forum held in Guangzhou on December 5.
According to Midea CTO Wei Chang, the robot uses a fully self-developed technology system and is capable of stable lifting, 360-degree rotation, and precise control of six bionic robotic arms. It can also quickly switch between different modules for various industrial tasks.

Midea confirmed that Miro U will be deployed at the company’s high-end washing machine factory in Wuxi before the end of the year. The robot is expected to improve production line efficiency by 30%.
Additionally, their Meila series for commercial and home applications is in its final testing phase and is scheduled to appear in offline experience stores in the United States in 2026.
Midea said it plans to continue expanding research in AI and robotics as it pushes toward large-scale humanoid robot deployment.
