The Metro Rail Transit management has recently implemented a new crowd control scheme in the hopes of “improving” the passengers’ commute experience, as well as freeing up some space in the ever-crowded North Avenue station. According to Al Vitangcol, the current GM of MRT, the new scheme will minimize the number of passengers who are flocking the North Avenue station to ride the train. Kaya nagkakaipon-ipon dito," MRT management’s new crowd-control scheme may seem fine on paper (at least for them), but in reality it just forces the passengers to wait outside of the station, exposing them to the unforgiving heat of the sun and pollution. There will be a common stationat the end of the line, which will be located near TriNoma, wherein passengers will be able to transfer to the existing MRT3 and LRT1.
