Netflix recently announced that it will be acquiring Next Games, a developer and publisher of mobile games based in Helsinki, Finland, to bolster its mobile games catalog. Next Games is the company behind mobile games such as Stranger Things: Puzzle tales, The Walking Dead: Our World, and The Walking Dead: No Man's Land. "With a shared vision and passion for games, we are looking forward to welcoming Next Games in a city that is home to some of the best mobile game-makers in the world," said Mike Verdu, VP Netflix's VP of Games. Netflix just announced the availability of games that its subscribers can enjoy for no additional costs. The video-streaming platform is launching Netflix games on mobile globally. With this, members can play five mobile games: Stranger Things: 1984 (BonusXP), Stranger Things 3: The Game (BonusXP), Shooting Hoops (Frosty Pop), Card Blast (Amuzo & Rogue Games), and Teeter Up (Frosty Pop). By 1 AM tomorrow, Netflix subscribers in the Philippines will be able to see the games tab and games row on the Netflix app. To access the games, what you need is a Netflix subscription.
