Nikon announced their newest compact digital camera today called COOLPIX P1000 which sports a 125x NIKKOR lens and support for super-telephoto shots. The unique feat of the COOLPIX P1000 is the 125x lens with a focal length that ranges from 24mm-3000mm. But for those of you who still prefers AA-powered camera, then Nikon might have something to tickle your fancy. The Nikon Coolpix L610 is an entry-level Point-and-Shoot which has a pretty decent features for its price. We’re not yet sure if Nikon plans to launch this product locally, but it isn’t unlikely. Nikon gets a new first in the digital camera segment -- the Nikon CoolPix S1000pj has a built-in projector. Nikon has just announced the new Coolpix P90 with a maximum optical zoom of 24x, one of the highest I've seen so far in compact cameras. It has a Blink Warning feature that alerts you if your subjects are blinking while focusing a shot {via Nikon USA}.
