Nikon announced its latest entry-level dSLR camera, the D3300 which was launched alongside its new kit lens, the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR II. The Japanese camera maker has made a few adjustments on the D3300 to make it 25% lighter and 30% smaller than its predecessor. Apart from trimming down the camera, Nikon also gave their new entry-level dSLR camera an engine overhaul for improved imaging performance. Moreover, the D3300’s APS-C sensor is now paired to an EXPEED 4 image processor which brings a handful of improvements including faster frame rates in Burst Mode, 5fps to be exact. Nikon introduced a new entry-level dSLR, the Nikon D3100, which has the capability of recording full HD 1080p videos. The Nikon D3100 is the successor to the popular D3000 line and brings in a set of new features and upgrades. The Nikon D3100 will come with a AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR as the kit lens.
