Just in time for Christmas, Nikon unveils its latest high-resultion professional DSLR, the Nikon D3X — a 24.5 megapixel camera that produces a 50MB file per shot of RAW photos.

This is no ordinary toy — with a suggested retail price of $7,999, the Nikon D3X is only for professionals who make big bucks from getting one of these {via}.

Comes with an optional GP-1 GPS unit that records shooting information such as latitude, longitude, altitude and date of shooting. Coordinated with map information, you can create an original map using images.

OMG! 50mb per file? haha. pano na kung gusto ko iupload sa web ku? :) haha. anyway, cool prn yang DSLR n yan. i want one!! i was asking my mom and dad to buy me a DSLR as my graduation gift.. but i don’t know what kind to buy.. XD

50MB per file?! You’ll definitely need to carry an external HD for this one. F1 photographers would find this one a good buy.
