Looks like Nikon is getting into the game by announcing an Android-powered point-and-shoot camera (and calls it the Nikon Coolpix S800c). The S800c also has the ability to run a local network via WiFi so you can connect it with another phone (and probably laptop as well) for transferring files. Earlier this year, Polaroid released the first Android camera so Nikon is probably the second one in this market. The Nikon Coolpix S800c will retail for $350 when its released. Nikon introduced a new entry-level dSLR, the Nikon D3100, which has the capability of recording full HD 1080p videos. The Nikon D3100 is the successor to the popular D3000 line and brings in a set of new features and upgrades. The Nikon D3100 will come with a AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G VR as the kit lens. The Nikon D90 is out; the Nikon D7000 is in -- this new mid-class dSLR from Nikon can do 1080p videos with a 16.2 megapixel CMOS sensor.
