So okay, it's obvious that Nokia's sale of the Nokia C6 is in direct competition with the LG Optimus One we reported earlier. Is it the LG sale or is it the Nokia sale? Not to be out-done, Nokia Philippines also has their own 60% off one-day promo for the new Nokia C6. On November 13, 2010 at 1pm to 3pm, participating stores will sell the Nokia C6 at 60% off. Stores include Nokia Stores in SM Megamall, SM North EDSA, SM Cebu and Gaisano Davo City. I clarified this with Nokia PR and they said that DTI was the one who approved it and it's possible that a 12% VAT was applied after the 60% discount. My guess is that Nokia wanted to match the sale price of LG Optimus One at Php6,490. During this afternoon's virtual event, Nokia introduced 3 new messaging devices, two of which are members of the new C-series of handsets.
