I'm a little curious that one of the most anticipated mobile phone from Nokia this year didn't have a big splash of a release. Announced in February, the Nokia N96 has a 2.8 inch display, 3G/HSDPA,  16GB internal memory, 8GB expanded memory via microSD, 128MB RAM, 256MB storage memory, an accelerometer, Dual ARM 9 264 MHz CPU, WiFi 802.11 b/g, 5 MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics, GPS, TV-out and FM tuner. The price varies from store to store but suggested retail price on Nokia Stores is Php40,800 while other phone shops (i.e. I had 4 most likely candidates as a great iPhone alternative -- the HTC Touch Diamond, Nokia N96, Samsung i900 Omnia and the Sony-Ericsson Xperia. Was scheduled to attend this virtual launching of the Nokia N-Series Mobile World Congress hosted by WOMWorld. Hot off the grille from Nokia are a batch of new N-Series phones. The fourth unit is the Nokia 6210 Navigator which is a slider phone, HSDPA, 3.2MP camera and aGPS. The N96 on the other hand was built for gaming with the new NGage platform.
