ZTE’s first foldable phone, the nubia Flip 5G took center stage at its global debut in MWC Barcelona. However, the nubia Flip 5G’s global pricing is significantly higher than the current sale of its Japan version, starting at USD 599. The ZTE Libero Flip costs only USD 420 (~PHP 23.5K) and is claimed to go as low as USD 265 (~PHP 14.8K). The nubia Flip 5G is also pricier than the currently most affordable foldable in the country, the TECNO Phantom V Flip 5G which had an intro price of PHP 23,999. ZTE will soon make its entry into the foldable scene with the upcoming debut of its nubia Flip 5G. On their official Facebook page, ZTE shared a poster of the device showcasing its design: a ‘flip’ form factor with a circular display at the back similar to what we saw on the TECNO Phantom V Flip.
