NVIDIA has announced that the GeForce RTX 30 series laptop GPUs are rolling out later this month. More than 70+ laptop models will be powered by the GeForce RTX 30 Series GPUs, including RTX 3080, 3070, and 3060 all with the NVIDIA Ampere architecture. New NVIDIA Studio laptops were also unveiled, featuring the new GeForce RTX 30 Series laptop GPUs. The RTX 3060, with the help of NVIDIA DLSS, has the power to run ray-traced effects in games like Control, Cyberpunk 2077, Fortnite, Minecraft with RTX For Windows 10, and Watch Dogs: Legion, to name a few. The RTX 3060 key specifications include: • 13 shader-TFLOPs • 25 RT-TFLOPs for ray tracing • 101 tensor-TFLOPs to power NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) • 192-bit memory interface • 12GB of GDDR6 memory This premium thin-and-light convertible is built around a new processor platform called NVIDIA RTX Spark, a "superchip" released also at COMPUTEX. Nvidia’s RTX Spark is the commercial name for its new Arm-based “superchip” for Windows PCs, built on the flagship N1X CPU-GPU design. Nvidia positions RTX Spark as an “AI-first” platform capable of up to 1 petaFLOP of FP4 performance, enabling local execution of large AI models (up to 120B parameters), along with gaming at 1440p using DLSS and full RTX features.
